Shave to Save

This is my friend Justin. He’s a good chap. And he’s about to shave his head in 15 days for Kansas City’s “Shave to Save,” a fundraising effort for the American Cancer Society. More about this awesome effort below:

Shave to Save is one of the American Cancer Society’s most exciting and unique fundraising events, and the only event that donates 100 percent of its proceeds to the Society’s Hope Lodge in Kansas City, a FREE place to stay for cancer patients in the Metro during treatment. Shave to Save is an event where men and women volunteer to shave their heads in honor or memory of someone that has been touched by cancer. To date, Shave to Save had had more than 70 shavees and contributed more than $750,000 to the operating budget of the Hope Lodge.

*Justin is at $4,910.50 of his $5,000 fundraising goal, approximately 98 percent. If you’ve got a little bit to spare, help him reach his goal. You can view his page here.
